Courses Information
The Zero Balance Seminar curriculum consists of 6 modules that will be taught in one 3-hour session. Sessions may be tailored to specific needs and the materials for each module will provide a basic introduction to personal financial planning. Topics range from debt elimination, understanding credit, balancing checking, budgeting/spending to savvy savings and biblical stewardship.

BUDGETING - 102 | Teaches how to create a spending plan for your income and expenses. Having a monthly spending plan is very empowering and will help you achieve your long-term financial goals.

SAVING & INVESTING – 103 | The best way to achieve financial security is to ensure that you have proper savings established. Having sufficient savings is one of the single most fulfilling tasks that you will accomplish towards obtaining financial freedom.

DEBT ELIMINATION – 104 | Debt is a four letter word that often times controls our lifestyles. Debt is considered slavery and the deeper we are in debt the more like slaves we become. We in essence deprive ourselves of the full freedom to decide where to spend our income because we have legally obligated ourselves to meet these debts. The ultimate debt is credit card debt and we should seek to eliminate these once and for all.

CREDIT – 105 | Credit is borrowed money that you can use to purchase things you need when you need them. Understand that commitment and self discipline is the key to improving your credit.

CHECKING ACCOUNTS – 106 | Checking accounts are maintained by financial institutions and allow individuals and business to deposit money and make withdrawals. Money should be kept in checking account to pay bills ONLY.
